Pacsafe CoverSafe Waist Wallet Review
I bought this for my vacation to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, having been warned about the pickpockets.
It was everything I wanted. With a slim profile, I could wear it high on my waist under my shirt, or lower under my skirt or pants. It held my passport, medication in a ziplock, drivers license and 3 credit cards, numerous receipts, and 30 bills plus some coins. it was undetectable under my pants and barely detectable under my shirt or a tight skirt. It was very comfortable in the high humidity (90% at 88F) and the great thing was that when we went out I didn't even need to carry a purse.
I didn't try to wear it through the metal detector at the airport because my medication is packaged in foil and would have set it off anyway. I took it off and sent it through the x-ray. It is easy for me to take on and off but would be hard for someone to reach under my shirt and into the clasp pocket on the wallet to unclasp it. A velcro tab locks the zippers, so they cannot be opened without hearing the velcro tab open.
I got the tan color which made it less visible against my pasty white skin under shirts that are not completely opaque.
if this ever wears out I'll definitely get another one. But it seems very durable and suffered no wear and tear on the week-long trip.
